May be most webmasters were downhearted by the overpricing and exaggeration of the so-called SEO experts quoting prohibitively expensive prices for the service to increase the website page rank in order to get traffic. The good news, is there are simple and efficient ways to promote your site and drive more and steady traffic to your site totally free of charge. If you have created a new site, or may be published a web page and you want to let everyone knows about it, the best way is to submit your site to social or voting bookmarks which are listed below:

Page Rank 8:
http://digg.com/
http://del.icio.us/
http://www.furl.net/
http://www.stumbleupon.com/
Page Rank 7:
http://reddit.com/
http://ma.gnolia.com/
http://de.lirio.us/

http://blogmarks.net/
http://www.blinklist.com/
http://www.netvouz.com/
http://www.shadows.com/

Furl has a higher pagerank than reddit? :S Oh well, that’s a pretty good list. I’ll try submiting my blog postings to a few.

I got some traffic from reddit, I have started recently submitting to furl and other social bookmarks to mainly increase the traffic and secondly to increase the page rank.
