The iPod Nano 2GB Silver Generation 2 is semi-remastered. Sure, it's cool and silver, audio is better, and the screener brightens your day a little more, but…what's the big difference? The case shell. It does not scratch a single bit. Apple fixed that, but they couldn' beef up the screen scratching problem. They only offer one color for the iPod Nano 2GB and to me, that' bad. Still, it'san iPod. It does it' job…perfectly. I bought this product because I like reviewing Apple products. If I didn't just buy it to review, I would have paid the extra fifty bucks to get the option for different colors and more song capacity. Buyers…buy the next one up.
Pro : Casing shell doesn't scratch, a tad brighter, better audio.
Con : Screen is still really easy to scratch, only one color, same old iPod Nano, BATTERY life is still an issue.

I previously owned sansas, will never go back to one of those again. Quality was horrible and software sucked.
I was one of the many people who pretty much pledged never to buy an ipod, but after returning my 5th sansa, I knew it deserved a try. (Hell, i even gave sansa too many tries)
So ii bought the 1st generation white nano. I fell in love at first sight, only one thing (and you probably guessed it) Yes. the infamous scratch factor.
So i returned that one and got the new silver nano. Apple had not done any advertising for it when i bought it just days after its release, and i was shocked to see it sitting there, but i was thrilled that it had the aluminum casing.
So me and my nano have been getting along great for about 3 months.
i love itunes, and it is truly the king of mp3 players!
go buy one. its worth it.

Overall, i think the silver ipod nano is great. It's color is awesome, as well as it's sound quality. Although i don't want to carry it in my pocket because it might break, i still like it a lot and would be devistated if ANYTHING AT ALL happened to it! It's an outstanding product!

Would I go for another iPod Nano? Inspite of all the cons, I just might …. provided Apple loads the product with some more goodies, so that they do not lose out to the competition.
Pro : Compact, stylish, great battery life, good display, sensitive rotary dial. All the existing features are the best in class, no doubt!
Con : No in-built microphone; no video player; no FM radio — all of which competing low-cost models have. Hence, poor value for money!

east to use I had the new shuffle it did not work so I called apple they sent a new on e that one did not work so I got the nano I loved it as sone as I plugged it in all of my songs went on to it

It does not have any radio FM or voice recorder but who cares , you can buy a radio or something , when you need a MP3 player with long battery life , the quality of sound and the glorious thin shape , it will be the best.

The iPod Nano is really cool. It's easier to carry that around than to carry a CD player AND all it's CDs when you could just put alot of songs on the iPod and only have to carry that and the earbuds. Plus, they've made some speaker type of things and alarm clocks to hook up to ipods so everyone could listen to it. Overall, I think the iPod is great!!

don't buy any more ipods because they will be absolet in the very near furture and then you will have a very crappy version and when you go bvuy the new one and you will have an empty wallet…
